continental and includes hot and cold cereals, milks, juices, rolls, etc. Lunch is of the soup, salad and sandwich variety. Normally dinner meals must be taken at the Priory. These candlelit suppers in our gracious dining room overlooking the Ramapo Valley is a welcome break for many groups using the Lodge- "a night out". Both basic and premium meal service is available in our dining room. Groups may also contract for breakfast service in the Priory dining room for $5 per person and/or lunch service for $10 per person.

Lodge weekday rates are available upon request. These are affected by their proximity to the weekend, how many days are to be booked and what special services are required. We would be happy to discuss any of this with interested parties.

A recently renovated, spacious, stand alone facility located at the main entrance to Carmel Retreat, The Lodge of Blessed Titus Brandsma, is ideal for groups wishing to conduct programs in a facility which is all their own. Leadership development, community building, and planning groups find this facility welcoming, user friendly, and private.

The Lodge has 11 bedrooms with beds for 25. There are six full private bathrooms all with hallway entrances near each of the four bedroom "wings". The Lodge features a small "family style" kitchen with 4 burner electric stove, oven and broiler, 25 cubic foot side by side refrigerator and freezer, a large microwave, and plenty of cabinet space. Directly adjacent to the kitchen is a lounge area with sofas, easy chairs, and a large dining/meeting table which seats 10. On the second floor a large conference room with a cathedral ceiling has a fireplace, two conversation areas, a large desk, and medium size meeting table for 5.

The conference room is easily reconfigured for large group meetings since all furniture can be moved to the

perimeter while stacked chairs are added to the center. In this configuration the room can comfortable hold up to 40 people. The room is equipped with an easel with large writing pads, VCR, overhead projector and screen and a Cd player. There is parking for up to 10 cars immediately adjacent to the building. Additional parking is located a short distance away near the Priory.

The Lodge is a five minute walk from our main building, the Priory of St. Therese, where our Chapel, Dining Room, main Kitchen, and additional meeting rooms are located. The Chapel is available for the use of all groups staying at Carmel Retreat. Normally, other rooms in the Priory are reserved for groups staying there.

The Lodge is available for weekend rentals (Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon) for a $1000 flat rate. Please note that the Lodge's capacity is 25. No meals are included in this rate.
